That's the idea, get the runners to sit above, then point the inlet down so you can tuck the turbo right underneath as close to head and engine as possible.
Especially if you get a compact, modern unit, something like a BorgWarner EFR series, pointless in putting on a Garrett GT series these days, they're all 15 year old designs now!
Had a look at those turbos and at a grand starting price I think I will leave that one.
