your most likely going have to get them made for you, not a common enough conversion for anyone to be making custom parts in bulk.

might be worth enquiring with force racing, they specialise in mini parts but im sure they could make you some titanium driveshafts if you supply the exact dimensions of what you need

Ok brilliant ill look into that and in what way r they diff in length or wat cuz I know a man who does a lot with drive shafts he might be able to throw me some together

I got mine done by a guy local to me in Coventry but think that might be a bit far out for you dude.

Really just need to know wats diff on them or wat I need to do as I'm hoping to put the 406 hubs and that on aswell so I would of thought they be fine and all fit fine but don't know as not started yet lol

Also don't know if to turbo it or supercharge it yet

have you seen how tight fitting the v6 engine in a 306 is?

i have no idea where you would fit a turbo or a supercharger.
im sure its possible, just that it will likely be a massive headache lol.

actually, if you relocated the battery there would probably be space there for a gearbox mounted turbo Big Grin

Do you not have to relocate the battery anyway to fit the v6 in??
Theyre pretty well shoehorned in!

tight fit yes, but i think with a very carefully thought out manifold and downpipe id say its do-able

from my experience with engine conversions, is to see a one done in real and ask the owner how he built it, you will get some people saying you need this, cut that, mod this and that.

Yea ok great stuff I have seen a turbo one on google and turbo sat snug behind the passenger headlight and battery moved to bck which ill prob do anyway but my one thought would be will I have to do a rebuild to take the pressure of the turbo or not I don't mind either way but would rather do it all at once so done

to turbocharge a N/A engine you will need to:

1.fabricate manifolds for inlet and exhaust
2.low compression cylinders, best way would be to get forged ones or you can the stock ones machined. ideally your looking for between 7.5:1 and 8.5:1 compression ratio
3.change the cam profiles for one with mild valve overlap and duration
4.map the injection timing for a turbo
5. get the right turbo for the application, so lots of research into efficiency maps needed

The brake servo and master cylinder is on the other side so would have to modify that picture

ive seen a v6 conversion with the servo in the standard place still, relocating it will depend on your custom mounts and how far forward you have the engine.

relocating it to the other side of the nay would be better though as you want the block as far back as possible.

if its just going to be a weekend/track toy you could just remove the servo altogether and save yourself the bother of moving it

Ok brilliant no problem Yea it is goin to be a track day toy but goin to have it in road aswell so prob move the servo

i actually prefer having no servo on track orientated cars, it takes a while to get used to, but once you master it you wont regret it, il be removing the servo on the truck turbo hatch when the brembos are fitted along with full braided lines and a bias valve

Ok great stuff so how do I bypass it/ get rid of it as I've done loads of stuff to cars but never really messed with brakes on them so not a strong subject for me
