Should be easy enough to see broken joints, though I would just touch everything up! but use leaded solder not unleaded that you have to use in industry nowadays it's crap

No, a Holden Kingswood mate, from when they were unique to Oz. Not a Commodore though, they were just Senators/Omegas with Chevy small-blocks in 'em lol

I just can't be arsed with lowered cars anymore, I don't wanna go 3mph over speedbumps anymore! Plus, it'd ruin the sleeper-ness of it Smile

And Kyle, I've seen a couple of auto electricians in Leeds and they basically said well have a look but it's 50 quid an hour and they won't guarantee a fix...

I'm just gonna do it myself!

Have you looked at swapping it for a second hand one. could do that, repair yourone yourself then swap back and sell the other one on?

I did mate, but on the Octavia the immobiliser is built into the clocks, so I'd have to get it re-coded for the car to start Sad

Turns out this thing is awesome in deep snow as well, as long as you turn off the crappy ASR. Even the ABS works well!

Always turn off all driver aids in the snow, woman up the road from me last year was trying to get up the hill with traction control on!! Watched her for a while laughing!! Told her to turn it off and she got up first time
