I had a 1.4 diesel 106 many moons ago
^Only picture i could find of it. 14" OZ polaris wheels seemed to suit it pretty well, de-sidestripped, chav backbox, xsi spoiler and for some reason a 3rd brake like under the bumper (I was 17!) Came as a 'kid' special edition, with denim seats which were promptly changed. Must admit was a shit engine, headgasket went so got another engine, and the headgasket went on that one. The 1.5 is in another league to the 1.4!

To be honest I'd just hotwire it, as long as you can lock the door. As for plans, I'd just keep it really cheap. 60mm drop looks pretty nice on these, and Citroen Berlingo steels look just like Rallye steels if you paint them white and you can get a set for like 30 quid, and it should be 4-stud being a diesel. As for the knackered paint on the bonnet and roof, matt black?

not havin much luck at the minute. hope it all changes for you soon mate and once more you will be happy.

Full new valeo locking kit is 72.50 plus VAT for everything including both doors, ignition, boot and fuel capgonna pick one up on the way home from work

Matt Wrote:Scrappy not be cheaper? YES But as above, My local scrappy never has keys in cars and Once youve drilled the ignition to remove it its not entirely suitable for refitting. and also Lockset was £78.30 total brand new with 2 keys, scrapper would of been at least £40 plus 2 hours of my time removing them.

tbf, 80 quid for a brand new set of locks and keys aint bad at all, id much rather pay that than arse about in a scrappy, only to then realise that i cant find the matching key... i tend to jump straight in haha
also, agree with a previous comment... bosch and turbo... ALWAYS wanted to do that to a 106 derv Member of the 99% warning or you're nothing club
So heres the lock set incase anyone is wondering what was included
Ive also been really gheto and fitted proper authentic sony 6x9s from the early 2000s And ive fitted 306 cabby front seats which really improve the driving experience but need to go about 3" further back (like the 106 seats) Got a load of service bits today. Hopefully get that done tomorrow afternoon or at the weekend.
