Not really done much to the rallye as recent apart from raise the rear 10mm. I have bought a new clutch, xsara steering rack, tre, ball joints, arb bushes and soon to get a new gear box and driveshafts. Haha.......all this due to a slight noise.

So finally got around to sorting the car..........
God it was a back ache but it was all worth it. Fitted a new clutch, xsara rack with new inner and outer arms, gearbox with new selector bush plus driveshaft seals and some front arb bushes. All I can say is what a different beast it is!!!!!! It feels completely different it now responds when I put my foot down and the turn in is bloody mental. I now need to learn how to drive it again before I stack it like i almoat did this morning hahaha.
Once again I was far to busy to get any photos but I will do soon

Not done much to the beasty really use been enjoying her really. At one point I thought I was going to have to sell her due to being a tit speeding but thank the gods I dont have to. Recently got rid of the annoying noise I had after replacing the drive shalfs and I have now just started to do some clean up work.

krusted, primed by hand, painted by hand, then spray then laquered. Got rustbullet to attack the front cause that is prone to more damage stones, salt etc.

Well its that time again Rallye tidy time. After having loose side skirts for good knows how long i decided to remove them so I can finish derusting. I then got carried away and removed the wing
Next job is to find some new clips and attack the sill. Its looking good so far.........time will tell

Fecking awesome. Exactly what's needed though. Yes,the underseal stuff that seams to be everywhere sticks to the shell pretty damn well.....angle grinder, wire brush, flap disc thing for a grinder.....gets there in the end but is a shit of a job, especially if you are on your back on your driveway.....still having the physio on my shoulder!!!!

Dude, the bare metalling of the underside is an epic task. Properly worth doing it but do not f*ck yourself up physically like I did. Just not worth it.

Managed to get some more work done on the rallye Saturday as it was a nice day. Managed to burn out two grinding wheels in the process but it was worth it
Most of the front cage is now out. Now in the process of finding a new carpet and a complete dash to flock. Also all my goodies turned up
Oh yeah and became an imperial guard for the day

What's your plans for protecting the underside?
I see electrox zinc primer as well as rust bullet in your pile.of stuff!!

The plan is to use the electrox for the cage plates, feet and any other small part the may require it. I will then use the rust bullet for the the rest of the job. The rust bullet will then be flattened and coated in black paint to give it a nice shiney none sticky finish

Been a while since i've posted anythinv due to work. But i've been a busy bee with the car. First after removing the wing I decided to remove the front end
While at it I also gave the arches a clean
