Of course you're not...what would a post from welshpug be without picking on something and thinking you know better?!
Are you looking for a massive I LOVE GAY PORN sticker on your car at pugfest?
Cheeky bastard my engine is very well looked after! Mine rolled good figures and pulls like a train.
You boys say what you like about hereford figures but Orta rolled a very low figure forhis rallye on the day which made him have the car looked at and now he said its a different animal as the lambda was buggered and the timing wasn't quite right.

Bit update so car been good, driving everyday getting 27-28 mpg which isn't great but for what it is,Is ok.
I had blown the decat again so Brough a second hand one ready to fit this weekend until this happend.
Driving to work Monday morning(early for work as well) come off the A road down the slip and waiting at the round about to go to tesco. As pulled away looked in my mirror to see this interlink van steaming up behind me,next thing I got pushed across the road.
Here pictures of damage
Ad kia cee'd i got as a courtesy car which is actually pretty nice car.
So pretty much looking at this being a write off and with me needing a car everyday to get to work I really dunno what I'm going to do.probably get a hdi and have this of the road for the winter.
The Upside is the floor plan looks untouched the bit on the boot with the id plate on its bent obviously boot and bumper need replacing aswell as number plate and the panel in between the boot and bumper.

Gutted for you man. Ive only just got my settlement from being rear ended in the coupe and that was over a month ago! Make the insurance assessor come to you though and not take the car away as the insurance company make it an absolute ball ache to get it delivered back to you once it's taken away.
Hopefully repairable though

When did the demand for cyclones get that good?
Any idea how much longer you've gotta wait to hear from the insurance? If you want a hand fixing or breaking at any point just say.

Well they going to ring tommorrow as of Tuesday I leave the country for 10 days and guess it will all start after that.
All need to do is have Somone come over and view the damage and then the decision is up to them.
Id love to keep it and fix it but ive done alot of driving this week in the kia(and loved it) I dunno if I could go back to a 90's car.
Never been one of these "just buy a new car people" but life is so much simpler,I can enjoy more without worrying about the car.
But I really dunno I do miss the character the pug has and talking to people who actually know about cars.

Well if you decide not to keep it and it's cheap enough to buy back I could do with a new project.
I must admit, I know exactly what you mean about new cars, I couldn't go back to a 306 daily now tbh! Comfort and refinement really are underestimated.

5k* and no, i just wanted something abit nicer to pick up women with / attend family shizzle with and doesn't look too shabby in the office carpark but still has abit of flair and sporting credentials...
But i would be just as happy doing it in a shagged old 306 hdi

I would get another focus tbh mate, much better for winter with heated seats, mirrors and windscreen. get a newer TDCi this time though? they are plenty decent enough for a daily barge

Good work mate. Good to see it on the road. Would have been cool if this happened months later and then you could have used panels from the 1.8 and a bit of it could have lived on!
