Your a pikey! lmao

Ive had to replace my tensioner pulley bearing as it had a fair bit of play in it and what sounded like stones grinding away.
I spent some time under the bonnet cleaning and tidying prior to my mag shoot on sunday.

Made it up and back from pugfest with out and issues, What a weekend absolutely brilliant! Great atmosphere as always, Some real great cars there. for some reason everytime i visit stew at baker i seem to come away with a empty pocket nevermind. Managed to do 4 hill runs this year and they all seems to go well and purposly making as much noise as possible Wink

Managed to do abit more to my new inlet today with help from my good freind. Got the AN fittings tiged to the rail and finished welding the 2 halfs of the inlet together. Ive got to machine up a pair of threaded inserts for the rail to bolt to that will be welded to the inlet, as i had to machine the exciting ones off.
[Image: 6DFBDAE7-4E65-49D2-B8C3-A9C96240A0B0_zpsdddlez56.jpg]

Ive also finished another pair of rosejointed wishbones for a friend.

not alot has happened with the 205 for a while. I took it to my local drift and drag event. The day didnt start to well even after the first run i was experiencing issues with the car. Luckily i had the laptop in the car did a quick log on the next run to discover i had a tps fault and i was over a second slower than my last run. Id gone from a heathly 13.7 to a 14.4 which was the best i was able to pull out of the car. Also to add to the fire the filter fell off the charger lmao After that we called it a day.
[Image: 10300869_10154401959460058_6769852990774...6d9722.jpg]

I decided to treat it to a deep clean and a clay mitt after a hard day, I have to say i was very impressed with the out come of it.
[Image: ECD9059A-07F7-4AE0-AD6C-1073B8D7B388_zps7lgp7tet.jpg]

I attended a local car meet at the haynes motor muesum, firstly i felt a bit out of place being mainly the only track car there. Never the less i muchly enjoyed my time there. Managed to get a few shots taken.

[Image: 10368961_674841472586135_187748431069779...9f9e3b.jpg]

Ive also been struggling with a "non normal" noise coming from the charger, so i decided to strip it down and inspect. It appeared that the snout bearings have seen better days, luckily i had a set of bearings for the snout so that will be done over the next few days, along with a modified inlet pipe welded to the charger. This is how the charger stands atm. I found the insides very dirty with dust which raises consern of the filter.

gives some idea of the dirt!

[Image: E1486E91-E710-4CB2-A163-BAB13812177F_zpszhskeukk.jpg]

Ive also been working on the next "installment" of the 205 which will be something that ive been trying to find for over a year now, finally i found a decent one which i snapped up straight away.

This is a m90 supercharger and is a ford gen 3 from a v8! the aim is more efficency and more boost. The charger will spin slower and provide more boost at a lower temp, and with bolt on and off pulleys i will be able to adjust the boost levels within reason.

all for now

Ha yes it is a bit big, in the long run it should be abit better for the engine and my ears as it wont be screeming.

The noise is quite addictive at the start but does get annoying at times.

Eventually got the charger snout bearings replaced, after struggling with removing the pulley. After getting the pulley almost red hot it decided to let go of the shaft with a huge bang. Using a big vice as a pushing device and then striking the vice with a big hammer. I also picked up the casing from a friend who had welded a piece of 3" tube to the end so i could attach the air filter to it some sence. I asked him to weld it on at a slight angle to help clear the inlet path.
[Image: C7B0B37C-DA49-49CE-AE06-A402A031473C_zpsox9hp0mj.jpg]

Apon picking the casing up i was also shocked to hear him say my inlet was finished! So i should be able to start fitting that soon.

[Image: 5F6921B1-26FA-4B7F-B120-822607BF949E_zpsbk4y6szw.jpg]

Ill get it painted up once im happy its working correctly.

All for now

looks a proper motor that! I wouldn't have worried about been out of place at that meet, as at the end of the day its a retro classic with a bit of a twist. Some young lads may not have seen a 205, let a lone a wound up one.
