Yes it did take a lot tbh milling of the caliper and brackets, new wheels, custom disc etc. Just swap them for some 406 brembos a lot easier. I'm in lyme regis on the south coast.

I wouldn't bother with 406 brembos. So many of them squeal horrendously and apparently there is one set of discs that stop that....at £220 a set

yesterday i decided to do abit of tidying up, many repaint a few things. I also went about finding my boost leak that ive been suffering with but i was only able to check the pipes and intercooler as i am unable to pressurize through the charger as it has a odd inlet shape and nothing will seal to it, So i cracked out the redneck boost leak tester.
found a few pin holes, and a leaking join cause by a dodgy clamp. Now averaging around 7-8psi
Fitted the new strut brace to replace the rubbish etech brace which im sure is made from recycled bake bean tins! also replaced the m7 bolts in the top struts that where slighly bent with some m8 12.9 sockets.
also thought id tease niall so i hooked the airline up to the boost gauge and sent him his picture.
Finally refitted my rear quarter red trim that had been missing for some time now.
I had to make it out of a old door trim with the help of the grinder.

I'm glad it's not just me who doesn't think much of those etech braces, took one off a car, leaning on it when I was taking to someone and could feel it flexing in my hand lol.
That new one an omp brace? Seem to be far more substantial than most haha

Yes it's a omp brace, no flex from it. It wasn't new in fact it was in a poor state when I bought it, I stuck it in the blaster and painted again.

Done abit of work to the 205 over the last few days.
My red carpet was getting blacker and blacker everyday so i decided to change it for a plain black carpet. Took the advantage and repainted the cage and also bought some new seats as i was falling out of the old seats. Ive yet to sort out some new harnesses but will more than likely go for some 5 points.
I also picked up some group n mounts from stew at fcs so ive started to fit them, already noticed the difference.
Ive been wanting to keep a eye on the charger temp and air temp, so i bought afew small digital read outs with probes which seem to give me a rough idea.
Painted my spare set of cam covers as the old ones had seen better days.

It doesn't really drive any different which is what makes it good, only until you stick your tow down does it become different. The real only differences is the noise and looks you get from driving it.

Yes 3. I've done a lot of testing with the dump valves. The problem is that you always have boost pressure in the pipes. When I was running a single valve my data logs showed there was still a lot of pressure against the tb causing inlet chatter and feedback on the rotors.
