I think that the ko3 is better if your runnin a stage 1 with a lucas pump. But if you have a bosch pump k14 will boost more than the ko3 and last longer into the revs with a gov mod on the pump. Neither are much good for serious power.

Its not a power thing this motor. More my daily runner to be fair. I think ill just keep the ko3 on then.

Somewhat negated by running with a VNT huh

You get nothing for free in this world, even with a vnt.
I think it would spool quicker on a shorter manifold straight off the head.

I know it's like a thumb suck guesstimate, AND that you've got a more elegant fannimold, but we're only talking a couple of hundred RPM right ?

Yeaaaaaaah, it'll be fine. It's not exactly a preccision engineering job.

I can't quite make out from the pics if you're t-ing into two pipes before the turbo flange or if you've got a 4 branch collector going on?
Certainly looks like you went to the effort of pairing to firing order.

It's an un-equal length 4-2-1. The cylinders are paired and come together in as smooth a way as I could manage with bits available. We tried to avoid any tight radius's and made a proper 2-1 collector.

K14/T2 are basically the same turbo, just T2 can run more boost.
K03/GT15 are basically the same turbo, just the K03 can run more boost.
Go bigger, TD04.

Right I have been thinking. A few people on the forum are eunning vnts which is great. But from what I can see they are gearbox mounted. As much as I like to show off will they not fit down the back??

So apprently a few people have done such things. Any build threads soneone can point me toward then? Or a website that allows me to read up on turbo efficency flow size etc??

Mr Fish mounted his 22 frame vnt down the back on his 206.
Darren mounted a 20 frame vnt down the back of a 205.
It can/has been done, has less lag, etc. Main reason for gearbox mount is ease of adjustment/replacement and as you say, the bling factor.

So got another turbo off a 205 lying about courtesy of pugmanxud. While my engines out AGIAN might put the one in due to non egr manifold. Anyone confirm that manis will fit and that the exhaust elbows the same?
The 205 it came off used to be mine so its a known good turbo aswell.
The second question of the night is ive been offered a t25 turbo off a nissan 300sx. Anygood or leave alone. Its only £20 if iq want it. Doing a big power build at start of year ready for april and insurance change over.

T25 on my old car was pretty good. Might not be a quick to spool as other turbo's, but anyone who has been in my car will know it felt quick.

Ok may be something to look into. Easy fitment then. Just need to get hands on a t2 maybe.
Anyone on here played with hybrid t2? Still need confirmation on the mani. Because if they are the same could always bolt up a hybrid to this manifold later down the line

Mine fitted fine behind the engine and was off a Nissan 300zx.
Can't remember the full spool time.
