		Hi all!
I bought the beast on thursday evening in swindon, got there at 8 and by the time i got back home it was 12 30!!
Anyways pics.....

well it would be rude not to.....

Gave it a quick polish yesterday and it hadnt had a polish for years! my chamois was a white/grey!
Paid £250 some service history, 105k unfortunately lucas pump
Plans:
This is mainly for my uni project so it is going to be chargecooled, reason being as not many people do it, give me good grades at the end and i get more hands on experience on 306s.
-Chargecool it
-Remove roof bars
-add door pins (doors dont stay open)
-fix drivers side electric window switches
-fix temp display on dash
-fix rear bumper

it also has an issue starting, it cranks over at a decent speed but doesnt fire just stutters really, it starts much easier on jump leads and once it starts there is a bit of blue smoke for 30 seconds or so. Will post a vid when i get the chance.
It has been sat a while so i guess it will need a new battery.

Looking forward to getting my hands dirty and working on it
All comments welcome

Yea the bodywork is fairly good condition, couple dents, small patch of rust and a big crack in the rear bumper but tbh im more fussed on the mechanical side of things as thats what my project is about, would like to get it done if i have any spare monies!
You are more than welcome to lower it james! however it will probs be a bitch and the missus doesnt want to lower it too much as she may have the car after i finish with it, providing she passes her test

Ok Matt awesome! I've done mine the notch method, but that's onl because it does need a proper refurb soon anyway. May pm krisB as I have never messed about with the bearing in there etc.

yeah id really appreciate a hand lowering it, james do u have a spring compressor?? ........roof bars are coming off but there is a lock which needs the key which i didnt get when i bought the car, they are only halfords ones. If when they come off they are re-useable then i will consider selling them.

As I said in my thread your welcome to come and have a look at the charge cooler setup on the dimma, it's quiet simple really, and saves having to cut anything to fit boost pipes through and also keeps the piping nice and short

Im Chargecooling it, basically it uses water to cool the pressurised air going into the engine instead of air like an intercooler
Foxy-jim Wrote:I don't but my friend does!
Well if we borrowed it we could crack it out in a day?? most of the time will probs be spent on the rear beam though!
