I killed a rallye but I saved at astor so can't really beat that

So the astor been sat in the drive since its last outing at combe which did amazingly.Just been busy with work and went to cornwall for a week so haven't gor anymore shinies.....well until has week after winning these bad boys on ebay

Was very late and im shot to bits so will get sone more tomorrow hopefully under my 1 2's then on friday we will test fit them to the hub

seen those, and they are very pricey new! as i can get them for the rover metro, but to pricey for me at the min.

Yeah I can a outstanding deal on them really I know I could sell them for what I paid and get my money back any day of the week but at do intend on fitting them;as pug goes off the road for the winter maym do it then as just want to enjoy it atm do as many trackdays as possible

Plans for winter are:

fit catcams
fit brakes
Find snd fit a lsd

Had a pretty epic weekend at fcs even the weather was better than expected

Track was 'fun'.First hour was dry and continuing on from are last time they started to push it harder even lap getting into a battle with a friend in his itb rallye which was fun i could nt have me on the bends and was gaining maybe half a cars length on the main straight i decided in the end to let him through.Also noticed how bloody hard it is to overtake aswell ended doing people on the braking down to qaurry which was nt ideal.

Then in the second hour the rain turned up which was interesting to say the least bends which where nt even bends In the dry suddenly started to crop up.I gave it 20-25mins in the wet before having a side ways moment at quarry and thinking to myself its really not worth it.

Car performed amazing as usual.Well apart from me still getting the temp over 90 even with the cooler so will be investing in a 16 or 19 asap.

Really good atmosphere camping and on the stand sorry if did say hi etc always seem to run out of time no matter what I do.

Sunday was also really good I think me steve where getting 70 round some of the bends

So took all the shit out of the 306 from fcs last week.Oh the beauty of having 2 cars,306 is turning into a bit of a track weekend car atm which sad but on the plus side it help me to save up for go faster/stop quicker bits

Luckily for me astor is such a easy colour to maintain and clean,never knew till owning one the paint as flexes in it and in the right light you can really see It.

Havet really done much to the astor recently got the wheels balanced and got the tracking done, soo much better now.pretty much all ready for pugfest with 10 runs booked and hope my bodged decat holds out

Yeah mate trust me its very addictive,only managed 8 in the rallye has night before it gave up

Got them all in the morning so get the camera out in the afternoon.

Just praying for good weather as I really don't want to find out how bad autogrips are mid bend.

Ok bit of a update

I hadn't driven the car for a while before pugfest complete forgot i destroyed the exhaust at FCS

I originally though it was my home brew decat turns out it was the seal on the mid section on the magnex so me will did some driveway bodging before we leaft, literally pushing exhaust seal into and over the crack.job was a good en anf off we went

Also got a catcam 3107 and mapped ecu the other day which was out of chris s engine he sold on here quite long time ago.

I have to order the other one from catcams and we ll see how she goes hopefully it will be running for its next outing at combe,demands how bad the focus fails on its mot.

They is some camage on the cam but him told its ok?? As its vacum end?
