not much of a update really but went up to chris this morning and picked a few things up inc a stock manifold
to butcher up prob not going to be the best thing but I think ill beable to run the boost pipes quite tidy

its good to be playing again but also good knowing I can just jump in the 207 and drive in a nice smooth car and not rushing to put the 306 back together for monday mornings Smile

its the little things that matter. ....? Wink

sooo I some small but things that make a difference front plate was well looked shit over hanging the grill so between the top and bottom I took a inch of spare material off looks tonnes better and welded up a down pointer for the exhaust Big Grin

and decided to weld my manifold myself with the mig no spool gun lets just say it was fun to say the least but it works lol

What size mig you used? And did you use different gas looks pretty decent to me! Want to make my own inlet up as an experiment I tried welding it with mild steel today didn't go well lol

mines a 150amp used 0.8 aluminium wire and pinched a bottle of strait argon from engineering company next door.
it actually looks okay, but is a right pain

yeah its far from ideal tho tig will get you that nice looking weld were as this well just gets a weld :p but its on there good so who cares if I was being picky id file it back all smooth but I cba with that lol

ill get a closer pick of what the pigeon did later Big Grin

last bottle I got was around 45 but that was argonshield light.
id just see what happens with alu wire and what ever gad you have what's the worst that can happen ? Tongue

well gave her a good old service today I don't think irs been changed in a while also swaped the pass wishbone and new front discs and pads also picked up a decent size filter and another pick of the manifold fir piggy and I made a oil catch tank lol
