Matthew Wrote:I thought the only thing wastegate would help really, is if it was surging like a mofo low down, and would therefore stop it reaching stupid psi. For example, im de-wastegate atm...seems fine Tongue If i control my foot alright low down, it boosts up fine, reaches 27psi, and sticks there. I just can't get my head around it lawl...i dont know why Tongue

Why would I have to drop the fuel down if i run dewastegate? I mean, my fuel is giving enough for 27psi, if i gated it at 27psi...its gonna have the same effect? Im wrong i guess lawl...just need you to explain it more teehee Tongue

matthew just use a ko3 manifold can stil keep the actuator as im doing Smile

padge really like the car Smile but whats up with the paint to warent a respray Smile

Well i can get it to boost to 16psi, but atm i've turned it way down to 10psi, and it still pulls like mad lol, it's silly how much more these flow compared to a t2, im putting the oil cooler in the wing i think, where the arch liner would come round behind the bumper.

Nah dave, this is my spare head, i can only get 16psi out of the t25 because the inlet dosent tighten up in 2 places, as the threads dont excist anymore in my current head! lol hmm exhaust porting with teh dremal? Smile how far to go though? any real difference?

Well you could ask is there any real difference in any of it... but you do them all, and the exhaust... it's gonna make about 0.5hp difference I suppose lol. Material match to a gasket on both the inlet mani and exhaust/inlet ports. Wow a couple of threads made that much difference to the way it boosted? What happens does it just smoke like buggery or can you hear it hissing like fook ?

it hisses, it was 9psi before we put gasket seal on aswell as a metal gasket, then got it to 16psi, smokes like feck on boost and hisses so bad lol!

I dont get what you mean here? do you mean i'll have to modify the inlet/exhaust mani gasket to match the porting adjustments?

Use the gasket as a template, and remove material on the inlet mani to match the gasket, see how far it is on the head with the gasket and then remove material on the head to match the size of the gasket... so the plenum is smooth with less turbulence.
