Looks awesome
how many hours has the rebuild taken minus painting time? Any things you needed sending away?

Great attention to detail, as always.
How long are those rocker covers and the head going to stay white?

to be honest ive not been to worryed about time
most of the time has been spent waiting for the postman or peugeot to get bits in or for paint to dry
i have not sent anything away, I have measured everything myself and have refreshed the engine without having any machine work done
advice has been taken from different people within the trade
new ACL Std mains
new ACL Std Bigends
new Glycol thrusts
new seals and gaskets throughout

I disagree, nothing like a fully-painted, totally rust-free, mint-condition engine bay!

Ah great was the engine faulty before you started? As i've got a 6 engine at a mates and wondering whether to start to rebuild it In my spare time.
Is bascailly swapping out old to new or do bits need to be machined?
Did you use a guide to work from?

the engine gearbox loom ECU were bought unseen, with a suspected scrap head
for a spares pack for mine, but on stripdown inspection the engine was low on compresion and the inlet resinator was split, so at that point it was decided to refresh the engine
as for machining yes and no all depends on what you find when you inspect
everything has a tollerance if its within no machining if its out it may need regrinds or skims
all the info is within this post
as for guides
i have two ive been working with one is here one is to big for here
other info has come from bearing supplyers websites and forums
but most if not all that ive found is here in this thread
