Got a picture? something isnt right with my axle, the passenger side rear wheel leans inward at the top. Its as though someone has smashed it with a sledge hammer or something. I dont think it would pass the mot and its going to wear the tyre down.

Unless you buy a fully reconditioned and rebuilt one they're all going to look as though they have been under a car on salty roads for ~15 years.

Is it worth buying a recon one do you think? You can pick one up from ebay for around the 80ish mark.

The rebuild kit is £100 alone so I doubt you'll get a recon beam for that lol!
Maybe rebuild one yourself?

I've got one here. I bought it off Tom306 and it was fitted to the estate he had last year. If you drive over here I can help you fit it one of the weekends if you like?

No camber, but the calipers could do with a refurb. Could always use the ones off your car.

They will fit but of course you still need to check the new axle because if you had a ph3 gti6/hdi etc, then the last thing you want is a ph1 axle with drum brakes and no ABS |
