Rear Axle - LewisG - 23-02-2014 Anyone know where I can get a second hand Rear axle for a 2000 2.0 hdi estate 306? Had a look on ebay theres a few but to be honest they look like they've had a hard life. RE: Rear Axle - karl1989 - 23-02-2014 I have a disk beam for sale RE: Rear Axle - LewisG - 23-02-2014 Got a picture? something isnt right with my axle, the passenger side rear wheel leans inward at the top. Its as though someone has smashed it with a sledge hammer or something. I dont think it would pass the mot and its going to wear the tyre down. RE: Rear Axle - RetroPug - 23-02-2014 Unless you buy a fully reconditioned and rebuilt one they're all going to look as though they have been under a car on salty roads for ~15 years. RE: Rear Axle - Mattcheese31 - 23-02-2014 just in case you don't know, any 306 axle will fit, hatch, sedan, cab . .etc . . RE: Rear Axle - LewisG - 23-02-2014 Is it worth buying a recon one do you think? You can pick one up from ebay for around the 80ish mark. They will fit but of course you still need to check the new axle because if you had a ph3 gti6/hdi etc, then the last thing you want is a ph1 axle with drum brakes and no ABS |
