Bit of a update, well Carl got to work removing old engine and found RUST!!! Angry
Apparently quite a common place but not as rotten as this, thankfully Carl knows his pugs very well and got to work plating and painting it up,properly chucked how it turned out hopefully no more expensive surprises.

Very common where idiots jack them up there and split the welds and underseal.

Yeah cheers, im actaully away for a week so be good for me.Guess it better it when now instead of half way to FCS or something.

I did sit down last nite and work out what it would cost roughly to get down, i also have about 300-400 pounds of car bits comming next week which i cpuld probably live without.

No not as yet, though I heavily suspect hg failure, hoping we can skim the head. That would be a result.hopefully get It diagnosed this week then can go from there.

#Update#

So guys bit of a update I got these of eBay and received them today.they are recaro treadline, many found in evo 5,Clio trophy, r26,accord type r.I had this type of seat in my old accord type r and thought they where great supportive seat.know I'm getting old I need to relax,f*ck having proper buckets again lol
So here they are not a amazing condition but very good considering what I paid, just trying to so something different as never seen these in 306 Smile

Dig out some old sliders, quite literally see the mud :lol
[Image: 20140204_152911.jpg]

Here s the base already has a steady looking frame with a few holes in

Had a little play around, feeling quite postive they can be bodged fairly easily.Just have to make a plate to clear the bottom of the seat with the base plate I'm probably going to use.

Do it mate Smile so comfortable, long journeys and track time is going to be great they really hold the top half of body nicely.

Looking at getting some alcantara maybe geting them done so really give it the perfect oem+ look Blush

I ready can't see why people haven't done this before. The seats generally go relatively cheaply on ebay. Fair enough there will be some fiddling involved.

I may make a 'how to guide' though I like beeing different lol

They do look pretty good as is, would be sweet trimmed in alcantara though

Do they fold forward for 3doors?

Yeah tempted as the middles are fairly worn.I get qoute first before start to bodge lol

No don't fold for passengers But these seat do come in 3 and 5 door applications I.e in the 182 and r26 so be looking into how that works but fairly confident they can be easily modded to incorporate the tilt forward function Smile

Shouldn't be too bad to change over then

Are you going to just use the normal belts or are you stripping it and using harnesses?
