Looking good! Don't scratch it when fitting though
29-01-2014, 05:28 PM
I think after all the hard work he's put in he'll cry if he scratches it
29-01-2014, 05:38 PM
haha Ill try not to! If so, it will come out again, be touched up (not in the Saville kind of way) and refitted lol. Im not expecting it to stay clean for too long. Engine bays just don't unless you keep cleaning them and i can't be bothered to clean the outside let alone the engine bay lol.

Will be controlling one via the ECU and the other via a bay temperature sensor.

Well its started and so far, touch wood, its gone well!
I was on the road by 7am this morning to take a trip to Jamie (Tallguy) to pick up some tyres and then on to Ginge to pick up a engine crane. Back home by 10:30 after 130 miles of driving and my old dear had already got the frying pan on and the kettle. She's a good girl! Me and grant started at 11 and with numerous coffee breaks and f*cking about, we had the engine out by 1. [attachment=13247] [attachment=13248] [attachment=13249] Quick trial fit of the rad and IC. Its bloody close but will fit. Im going to have to cut a little bit out of the slam panel for the 180 degree hose on the left but other than that, no modification required ![]() [attachment=13250] Was planning on fitting the engine tomorrow but i messed up and didn't get to Peugeot in time to pick up some parts so the engine can't go in until monday morning which works out ok because we discovered a bit of rust thats going to be tidied up tomorrow. [attachment=13252] [attachment=13253] And Grant decided to chock my top engine mount for me which should stop the mount cracking and give better throttle response. Also ripped out the air con as lets be honest, its not going to work again is it ![]() [attachment=13251] All in, a good day had. Now just got to get it back in and working ![]()
