E36 M3 LTW. Reckon the E30 is much prettier, but can't give up the straight-6 noise.

Couldn't possibly choose, many have been mentioned in this thread (Lancia/F40/Hakosuka Skyline/various homologation specials) but Lotus Carlton would be pretty cool I reckon.

Saw a MINT NS-X today and almost came. They fit the OP's requirements as well, able to run on a steady wage. Show me another supercar that isn't a stripped out racer that can do 30mpg...

Show me another supercar that isn't a stripped out racer that can do 30mpg... There's an nsx in the body shop round the back of my unit. So nice! Alot smaller than you'd imagine a supercar though, they're not much bigger than a 306 really, a lot lower but not hugely different. Tiny cockpit aswell

Not so much of a fan of the newer ones but older ones are alright.
If I could find one, I would have one of these: ![]() Old man used to have one 'back in the day' I traced his to Scotland, but some git either nicked it or broke it up as it was reported stolen ![]()

They aren't anything special to drive either, wheezy old Pinto engine, baulky gearbox, shit ride, shedloads of body roll. The mk1 Golf GTI was a far better car at the time.
