Wack on the.bosch then get it in the Hdi.
Cant wait tbh

Oh yeah, so my old axle off my black dt has been up frostys for best part of a year. Decided to get it home and take apart.
Turns out to be a really good axle
Plenty of grease in there no wear on bearings or trailing arm pins.
So what im doing now is using this tube
Going press pins out of drum trailing arms and put them in my disc onea and build up with new seals etc. Put my 21mm '6 Torsion bars in and a 24mm ARB..
Using new offset washers, screws seals and caps etc. She should be good for a while
Ill get some pics tomoro nite

Slight update (nothing amazing)
Have had a load of parts turn up ready for when the engines out.
Bosch lines
Bosch injectors
Still waitin for pump
Victor reinz headset, head bolts and headgasket
And the turbo
Garrett gt1752s
Not massive but I didnt want sill power.
So should be a comfortable 150 bhp hopefully
And its fair bigger than a t2 and being a gt series its more modern design
Currently making adaptors etc
The standard oil line fits though
And the main reason is there cheap and plenyful.

Yep it's fair bit bigger and the hot side not massive so I would say it should spool up pretty well and as this is all going in a phase 3 will be win

Fair enough, im hoping around 2.25k maybe but as ruan said in another post the 1752 as soon as it starts spooling.to max boost is almost instant. However comes in a bit later than say a 2052/6 etc.

what does the exhaust side look like? are you making a bigger downpipe?
if it was going in a ph1 then it would be total win
Sounds like its going to be in sooner than expected??

Yours being off a merc would be longer due to it being down side of engine, theres loads of room on the merc.
Does the downpipe have a vband clamp

Right on, another update starting to move along now
Engine is out of the red car, me mikey b and Frosty took it out last weekend in minus 1 degrees like real men in the dark, few crap pics but dragged engine subframe and front suspension out in one. Few crap pics
So then got engine back to my garage, I had my bosch to test after having it apart, also Mike wanted to test his 11mm. Had engine on floor not tied down at all just on crane, 5ltr Jerry can and run the engine like that.
Fair to say Mike's11mm created fair coal
Anyway stripped engine down later that week, ready to paint block build head etc replace gaskets whilst its apart.
Turbo is ready to go. So its a case of put engine together again and fit it finally, I cant wait.
