Only just realised that I don't have a project thread up for my current 6. So some might remember that I bought a black 306 for £145, I fixed a few bits on her, but I really wasn't happy with the rust. So sold her on for £600
How I got her
How she left me
Anyhow after she was gone my partner decided she wanted another black 6, looked everywhere for one and finally found one in Wales lol. So a few messages and a bit of haggling later, I booked my flight and set off for my £300 6.
102k miles, cam belt done at 98k, interior was rather good, with just a small split at the seam of drivers seat. Had new back box fitted, came with new centre section, broken fog but came with one to replace.
She drove back with only one hiccup, my brake lights were staying on due to the switch on the peddle coming loose. Took me two hours to fix the fecker as had no tools and had to call Greenflag lol
How she came to me
First thing, good clean inside and change interior, as had a mint one from my last 6
Never seen dirt like it come from inside a car haha
New interior in
White bonnet and boot badge, new bonnet also fitted as other had a slight crease where it was closed to hard
I fitted the centre section at mot time in August. Just done discs and pads all round and full service. Also fitted her with white cyclones, can you guess the theme lol she also had a gold drivers door handle, changed that back to a black one.
So now I'm thinking lowered, and black masks?
What do you think

I've had 7 escorts in my time, and this is my 4th pug. I agree my dtub was faster, but there is just something about the escort I love, and something about the 306 I don't lol. However I'm starting to slowly change my mind

I think they'd look bad on their own but might just work with the other colour-coding.
Having said that, black masks on a black car are guaranteed to look good...

yeah but those 4wd systems were shocking...as was the engine to be honest...oh and the rot from the inside chassis.
Not sure about the white masks...I quite like how clean it all looks at the front as it is.
Maybe black masks with a white "Peugeot" on them?
