To update this thread on a new forum:
Bought the car like this:
Did loads of work to suspension, chassis, stripped it, built a new engine, hybrid turbo etc etc... 950kg and made 209.9hp. It now stands like this:
Carrying on from my theywhoshallnotbenamed thread (I cba copying it all over).
Just bought these, £220 worth... but should be nice and accurate:

Cheers mate - appreciate that... Few people stuck there heads down the back to look at the turbo, prodded and poked a few things and asked some questions... I like sharing the love :-)

(This post was last modified: 19-08-2013, 09:52 AM by jammapic.)
New gauges arrived, and fitted.
Decided against the swoosh, they weren't what I was looking for.
Bought some VDO gauges, most expensive I could afford at £220 for 3, plus senders:
Seem a lot more accurate, and I've changed where I pickup the oil temp from to more accurately reflect what's going on!

^^ this, although watch the gaffa tape doesn't melt because that will make a right fecking mess, I would tape some cardboard round it and see how that goes if it was me mate!
