If it just sound you want pop down your local garage and ask them to cut you cat & back box out and weld a bit of pipe in. That way you will get some sound for the time being, abit less restrictive and will be like sub £50 so you wont be wasting to much monnies
Just realised that the system from Longlife in Birmingham is a 2" bore! -.- So basically paying £260 to have a smaller bore system in than standard, makes sense lol!
Going to pick a decat pipe up from a member on here tomorrow, then probably do away with the backbox and weld a bit of pipe in there instead and leave the midbox

I actually ended up picking up a DIY pipe welded decat and Hoffman straight through centre section off luke306rallye yesterday for £40
May not be the best option what with the crush bends and everything but for the price I couldn't say no lol :p
I'll post a picture of the current backbox which looks like a midbox with a tip welded on? I'd reuse it if so but like I say I'll get one in the morning

Ah I see, misread that, thought you'd said refuse lolfail!
Easy way to tell would be take it off and hold one end up to your eye, should be able to see right through.
Been quoted £110 by custom pipes in Doncaster to have my decat pipe fitted (more expensive because it goes directly to the turbo and not via a flexi?) and my backbox cutting off and being replaced with a 3.5" welded tip. Midbox staying in place.
Decent price I'd say? Booked in for 9am tomorrow, just so you all know your advice in here hasnt gone to waste Thanks!

tools needed: ratchet / extension bar / 10 mm & 13 mm socket
To remove my cat I have a pipe with the cat cut out and a pipe welded in and theres only the 2 bolts on the top of that? The other end is the sleeve fit to the midsection I think
