Right so iv snapped pinch bolt for the shock and cant seem to remove the remaining part.of the bolt. now im wondering if the bolt head is welded or fixed to the hub some how. iv beat the crap out of it with loads of heat & plus gas. has anyone ever removed this bolt? shed any light on this??

Probably just siezed in it, get a punch and hit it out from the oppisite side but i presume youve already tried that, shock around the hub around the stud with a hammer and it should come out after a bit.

They arent welded in. Mine move freely when loose.

You could also grind a bit of the side of the head of the stud and clamp a good set of vise grips on it to get it to turn a bit.

I have had this twice now and both times the remainder wouldn't come out no matter what I tried including heat and punches.
Only thing left was to press it out but I just swapped hubs.

Im managed to get it hot enough to punch out in the end, I did have to take the hub off though
