But in all seriousness, this week I'll be putting the 'rods back on, refurbing them silver and going for a much more OEM look as that's just more to my taste personally.

As the beam is not meant to take that much weight in one place, some say it could twist/bend it. Although I have for years with no ill effects. It's like jacking on the diff of a rear drive, some have done it for years, others are "you shouldn't do that".
Off you go then Vaughan although if you like them I don't know why you wouldn't like PR3's?! There's a bit of a price difference... Unless you get lucky
