Hmm, could've REALLY done without it today.....
About 3" in the road between tyre tracks, no grit on our road.........and coming home last night there wasn't even any grit on the main B road!
Must admit though, the golf was good in it last night, I left the ASR on and it only cut in trying to get on my drive (bumping over a high kerb onto an uphill sloping drive in snow FTL lol). It got me straight up though, where as the 306 just span in that same situation last year.
Heres a few snowy pics.....you can add yours too....
Thanks to the snow I'll be missing out on work today if I can't get out so I'll be losing £30.....guess I better not drive anywhere at all next week then.
bad one.^^ wouldnt like to be driving rwd. can remember last year both of my bosses have mercs, always going on about how bloody good they are. one day after work when it had been snowing we all got in our cars to go home. well at leaste i did, they couldnt get up the slope. i just slowly crept past giving then the looser L finger.
The cabby has been amazing even though it was ploughing the snow with its front bumper in places, climbed a massive snowy hill in high wycombe even though it was probably 1 in 3.
Had a great laugh coming back on the motorway at 3 different peolpe in expensive nearly new 4x4s whod all managed to crash into the central reservation and/or the banking up the side and were sitting on the hard shoulder missing wheels and bodywork.
Only issue i had was snow getting stuck inside of my wheels and making them feel massively out of ballance.

Yes mate, was well good (bar the queue at the bar)
UEA has some proper fit birds although theyer all midgets, had my arse groped at least 10 times. Wish Id wasted 4 years of my life going to university.
Heated mirrors packed up this morning...great.... (didn't notice until I tried parking in town lol )
But then got carried away taking snowy pics with different settings on the camera phone lol.......I think the snow is about the only thing that makes the golf look a bit interesting haha!
Snow mpg wasn't as bad as I expected...considering I set off when it was -4 lol....and left it idling for about 10 minutes on the drive! :o
