Which top-mount bearings?
#1
Can anyone recommend a pair of top-mount bearings for me please?

Mine need replacing as the offside is creaking heavily when steering is on full-lock.

What is the most budget-conscious approach to take with these?

Any real reason to spend more than the minimum?

Thanks

Thans for the recommendation.

I am looking at the GSF parts available, and they seem to have two have identical specs:

Part numbers: 457PC0340 and 457PC0051

Which did you go for?

Any other parts needed?

SKF ones are about £50 for the set from ECP. Less with the club discount Smile

Are they the same as these, as recommended at post #34 here?

Did you buy new top mount bearings at the same time too?

the kit you have linked is the mounts and bearings. The one piggy has put up is just the bearings.

I am getting lots of creaking from the offside-front when on full lock, after fitting new coilovers and running them at a 75mm drop.

Should I replace the mounts and the bearings, or just the bearings?

Just replace the whole lot, they're cheap enough. Mine were new when I fitted my coilovers so I ruled mine out
