Well I've wanted an estate for a while now and also been curious as to what the HDi game is all about so when the opertunity came to own Birk's old car I did a straight swap with Bengley.
Current spec is:
Prosteve Stage 2 map
Lowered on lowering springs at the front and rear beam lowered to match
Custom white paintwork - all smoothed
Since I have had it I've black masked the headlights
Fitted fog lights (plus cully flash mod)
Fitted manual boost controller and boost gauge
Fitted gunmetal challengers with 15mm hubcentric spacers all round
Pics:
Short term plans are:
Colour code grille, hockey sticks an mirrors
Sort out both number plates
Fit red '6 calipers
Sort something for rear lights (open to suggestions)
Sort some kind of boot popper
Long term plans are to go 16v, either with the 2.0 or 2.2
All thought and opinions welcome

Yea, should of mentioned its got a '6 flywheel and clutch and fmic, I might move the front mount forward so it can be seen better
Yea. I liked the brocks but could never have afforded them plus I don't really want a carbon copy of his car besides I think they grey challengers suit it

It will a lot different when you get the grille painted.
I'm eager to see what power it makes after you fit a MBC properly, unlike me lol

Yep, fitted and boosting 20psi, not really sure how much boost is needed, complete novice to hdi tuning. With an XUD you just match the boost to the fueling manually depending on how much smoke is pouring out the back!

20 psi should be fine, depending on which turbo it has i wouldn't take it much over that

I've been looking at fly eyes but not too sure, going to try it maybe and see what it looks like

Yeah 20 psi should be perfect then, my old HDi was at 19psi on a ko3 and that pulled 155bhp, much more than that and it's out of it's efficiency anyway

You have to have side repeaters but don't have to be on wing can be on mirrors

Hmm, may have to put them back in then, cba to route the wires up into the doors to some tacky aftermarket mirrors, shame, I like the smooth!

The light works now, I just tapped a wire straight into the back of the rear light cluster.
Rollers tomorrow hopefully!
