Fortunately it is insured. I'll see if it recovers first, it's in a bag of rice in the airing cupboard lol.

Two weeks later, the insurance documents have gone off. Awaiting a response to my claim. Boxed everything up, as you do, ready to send back. But couldn't resist the urge to plug it into the mains and see what happens. ... Bastard thing works perfectly, doesn't it!!! Well I've tried every function on it now and can't find any fault with it. Seems fixed.
