Yeah Chris they are. 3door 306s are side mount on the outside so needs a few bits making up!

No. Last time someone made a big hole in the floor pan of my car, I had to scrap the bastard for being rotten!
Nah it's not much work at all to get them fitted now I've worked out how I want to do it. Will do a guide once there in and I'm happy they won't flop about all over the place!

BTW top tip for the torsion bars.. they're the right length but need a bit of persuasion with a BFH to get them in, splines seem a little tight on the arms
I thought the splines looked a bit wide, its gonna be a pain in the arse adjusting the height then!

Not really, just prep the arms properly. You wouldn't fit shiny new pistons to a rusty engine block.
My bars still pull out fine, just rather snug. Keep them greased up and they'll be fine.

got my passenger seat in. Oh god its comfy!! Got sam to do a bit of welding for me this morning. Only issue is i couldnt get hold of any angle steel today so had to use some ally down the side on the sill. Its still nice and secure but flexes slightly when you sit in it. Going to replace with some 4mm angle steel and jobs a goodun!
Funny thing is, even with the ally, its still more secure than the original seat lol.
also, got various bits done today but main being sams win pipe on his NAD
busy few evenings ahead. got to fit my original doors so the colour matches, fit a new rear bumper and get my drivers seat in! oh and fit a set of torsion bars but i might end up doing that at the christmas meet lol

Looks good. Look like they really make use of the space how heavy are they in comparison to the standard seats?

there a bit lighter than the standard seats. There is a 2-3 inch gap down each side. inner side im not fussed about once ive hidden the cable for the pre tensioner (its bright orange!) but the other side i might try and cut up the original plastic trim to fit on

Well ive spent 3 hours tonight making the most simple of mounts for my drivers seat. difficult when you dont own a vice, decent hacksaw blades or a drill without a bent chuck!
either way its done. hopefully will be going in at the weekend along with my new torsion bars but am on call so might not get a chance
anyone want to do it for me?

Niall, I still have that vice but because I still don't know if I'm coming to the crimbo meet or not and Samass gets up to Birmingham fairly often, if you can persuade him to make a slight detour and grab it(he owes me a favour or 2 as he forgot to pay me for the maccy D's when he had his beam changed lol) it'll help you out no end.
