I saved over a grand when I quoted Greenlight against Flux .
Flux gave me all the goodie bits and third party cover on other cars, just so I didn't leave them
Can't fault them. But it annoys me I had to threaten to leave to give me the best deal

we currently have the xsi,gti & land rover all on flux. came out by far the best deal. with like for like mod replacment. brake down cover was cheap. (moded car brake down) and they beat every one by a mile on the S/C 6 @ £520 1ncb £4.5K agreed value & like for like mod replacement fully comp 260 bhp limit. was £200 cheaper than any one else. and had no problem with customer service. allways ring me back within 5mins so i dont have to pay for calls

Well, I have asked about it each renewal and they always say "at 25". What am I supposed to do? Of course, this time round I will be 25 so the opportunity has gone now Why am I so far behind everyone else I didn't have the opportunities everyone else had earlier in life, it's so unfair, I am jealous of younger people, f*ck them
you just wernt shopping around enough, i had 3rd party on any car at the age of 17, 7 years ago HA

I dont know how you can be moaning about being behind. Ive always been paying about £1k to insure my cars. Even though I have 5 years experience and never had accident or points. Yet everyone paying half I am.

Didn't see anyone mention Chris Knott. Tried them last year (usually they were too expensive) but this time around they've sorted me out at £340 for the HDi.
Disclaimer: The above is not to be taken to heart and is probably a joke, grow up you big girl.

106s cost more to insure than 306s.... My NAD wasn't far off the Golf at the time!
As for DOCs, its mainly about your Job Puggy, I'm penalised for being unable to work yet again with car insurance, and not allowed DOCs because of that. However I wouldn't get DOCs if I was working in the motor trade either. Stupid really as I'd happily extra for it.

I had a 1.1L 8v 106 and always aspired to own a 106 gti or a saxo vts but insurance costs were lower on a 306 gti-6 so I got one of those instead.
This post is an artistic work of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted above as fact.

Tom, not being in employment will have no bearing on whether or not you get that benefit.
Jobs in the motor trade will never get the benefit for obvious reasons!

That's exactly what I was told when I asked lol.... May not have been Flux, may've been brent/greenlight.
And what are the obvious reasons? Why shouldn't a mechanic be able to drive his wife to Tesco in her car at the weekends? It's ridiculous imo.

I genuinely hate the DOC crap. Its a shame because im half sensible and wouldnt prat around in someone elses car (not that its really all about that), but the amount of times i have needed to drive someone elses car lately has been unreal. Just annoying really, i guess its the fault of everyone who crashed someone elses car?
Doesnt even own a 306.
