But all them problems are just the same as a normal running 306. I reckon get it just looked up pictures so much different to everything people are doing now a days, its got potential.

Don't know if I like it enough to put the effort in. The interior is seriously manky!

It seems fairly solid, but there's no spark when I turn it over, the sunroof has been leaking and now the interior is so damp and mouldy it could do with just replacing (if I could find another!), It's got a fair few dents, scratches and patches of lacquer peel, and none of the electrics work...

Id weigh it in, if its worth f*ck all, but then again, all depends on if your willing to spend the time and efford with the car.

Seems a shame when it's so rare. Might advertise it on RR for scrap value, then at least someone might save it...

Why not? It'll have value to someone, remember a lot would say that about your car. No-one wanted to save SD1s either but now good V8s are 5 grand...

It's not cool in your opinion mate, but it mine it is. And how is a big hatchback not useful? As for loads of good ideas but not making them work for 5 minutes.... Pot and kettle...

Spose its useful for filling full of scrap to up the weigh in lol

?! I have no good ideas, just odd ones, and all mine are working fine, have been for nearly 6k miles now...

Crack on mate, thats the thing, its not worth anything, so you wont lose anything in having it, but I would be careful to check for rust before thinking of putting it on the road.

Even the worst interiors are salvageable!

Get it all out and wet vac the shit out of it! Managed to get the metro cabby interior back to a fairly decent condition that way, and that was after a year or so of having the roof only half closed.

Just don't make my mistake of opening the mouldy owners manual, swear that it's the worst thing I've ever smelled!

It seems very solid, even under the rotting carpets the floor only seems to have surface rust, but honestly the interior makes you want to puke...

Worse mate, the fabric is actually rotting. It'd need a new interior, and where would I find one?

Liam why not get it running and just strip the interior out, get some bucket seats and harnesses. your laughing, ebay what you think is salvageable from the interior. Id be looking on the Renault forums too just to see what spares you can get, if you wanted to bother sorting the car out to sell on.
I know you will be wasting your time, looking around scrap yards for one, as these died out 10 to 15 years ago. So find one is going to be like finding a nova, in a scrappy. I remember scrap yard hunting for metros 10 years ago, and there wasn't a nova in sight.
Also liam, on here is worth a look

see if you can break it, then liam. As i recon you would shift a lot of parts from it with out a bother. Just remember it will keep another one of these on the road. also some of the bits maybe hard to get hold of and highly sort after , and this car may have them.

well you cannot save them all as you say, it will be cubed by now. As I think a lot of yards wont keep cars in that age now, as there isn't a demand for a car that age anymore. I have this problem up here, a lot of old rovers now have been shown the door, Metros are existent now up here. I think the last one that was in has now gone sadly.
