I wonder if they have actually let the quality go rubbish due to the change of manufacturers?
That looks brilliant just because its different haha. Wonder if it actually has any filtration benefits to the standard ones.
Yeah Im aware that pleats don't mean much but tbh I often look at the general quality of the filter media and also the sealing around the top.
The seals on the bosch one I have look warped and don't look like they would fit flat and snug to the plastic mating face.
As for the micron size I suppose we can only guess haha. I would presume ones that pack more pleats in do so because they need to increased filtration surface area to compensate for the lower flow through the finer filter media but that would be a total guess really.
