been doing lots of side by side comparisons, certainly of oil filters..


the general concensus is that the order is Purflux/wix, bosch, toilet paper stuffed in a cup, fram.. from best to worst..

a lot of comparisons of the bosch oil filters put them only a tiny bit behind the wix ones, as the oil filters at least seem to be made by Champion before they merged with Fram/Honeywell, now outsourced to Affinia (who make wix filters),

both bosch and wix use the smallest filtration size of 15um and 14um, respectively, in their media, and both have the largest media surface area of equivalent filters..
