hi finally after a few months of being a member on here i am going to post some pictures starting at the begning with a standard car to now, its not had a great amount done but im getting there slowly, and im also helping the missus with her 3 door hdi dturbo, mines a 5 door glx hdi,
before lowering and after a good valet.




even got the missus to help flush the radiatior
i then fitted a strut brace nice and orange(was the first one i found for a decent price
fitted rear sportex back box and racetube middle and decat
lining up the front laguna splitter
and fitting
After a nice clean and splitter fitted after purchasing a nice cherry badge from gareth7
also car has now been lowered 40 mm all round with gti shocks and its had a stage one remap and ive fitted a boost gauge more pictures to follow, let me know what you think, oh and de wipered too
next was installing hids 6000k canbus ones
then i cleaned the inlet elbow whilst blanking the egr here i bunged the egr valve pipe with a unused allen key and some silicone sealant and some more cleaning on the inlet i found it easier to remove the air box to get to it.
And here we are after lowering and fitting cyclones on toyo proxis the pics were taken about an hour after fitting so hadnt settled yet.
after a stage one remap i noticed i have a injector leak, so i loosened and retightened and then later replaced injector seals, so if yours look like this then try tightening them up if that doesnt work replace the seals.
my mate jammas car and i think dans td at the end of the EA meet during the meet i noticed how dirty my rear had gotten after leaving a trail of thick black smoke everywhere i went, cant blame the others for rushing of when we were moving to the next check points, http://i1065.photobucket.com/albums/u40 ... 173013.jpg me left behind taking it easy because my rocker cover gasket went nice clean and shiny at the begining of the day then all black and dirty at the end
next i installed my boost gauge and my cobra alarm and immobaliser on monday i should be fitting a front mounted intercooler yay then a new clutch followed by a stage two. let me know what you think guys any hints and tips would be appreciated.
The other day i got home from work and found a nice parcel from Gareth7 i promptly fitted to the car i drove my car to have fmic fitted the next day then i needed to be recovered, and found it had a bodged citroen gearbox and looks like a clutch thats done million miles cars sat like this now til my new gearbox clutch and intercooler arrives on the plus side i got a free easter egg from euro for buying a brand new valeo clutch, lol anyway in the post i got coming one of these, and a set of these and five silicone bends all excited will be speaking to a mapper for a stage two most probably will return to prosteve as he has been most helpful
Now i have removed the air con pump, pipes and radiator and put in it place a nice shiny FMIC with slim fans, and some nice new mirror caps thanks gareth7, also one for sam hope you appreciate the sticker removal on the rear door Srowel. and then on the weekend i got myself a nice new polishing kit so i had a go with it let me know what you think guys.
