EML, high idle, revs taking time to drop???

Ive had a search and Im not too sure if the TPS flags up an EML... does it?
Also the car is idling at ~1050 rpm and, when changing gear, the revs seem to stay high/lagg a bit before dropping, is this TPS or could it be a dry cable? Thanks in advance
