So the car is washed and ready for FCS bar not having been waxed as it was too hot but she is clean inside and out.
Boot carpet and double layer of cloud 9 is pegged down.

Put a new +ve clamp on after cracking the last one

Got my now black strut brace on.

Had my latest new Falken ZE914 fitted and balanced separately (long story), took them 2 mins to change the machine over and 3 mins to balance the wheel.

Following reading a certain old wife tale well an old racing drivers tale at any rate I have made myself an additional silencer/noise reducer that slides over my tail pipe out of a large tin can with 40 holes drilled (it was 40 to make the area of holes add up to about the same area as 2.5" pipe) in the side in a patch. It's supposed to work by the flow hitting the end of the can and bouncing back against itself then having to dissipate through the perforations and is apparently worth a couple of db reduction. I hope I get a chance to test it but I hope I don't need it. It's secured with a jubilee clip.

I've also finished the paint on the front end for now. The paint isn't bad but the smoothing itself is terrible and needs re done so this is just temporary.

And here is how she stands now nearly packed and ready for FCS.
