If I was WOT it would bog down and not accelerate properly. If I lifted off slightly it took off like a rocket in comparison to bogging down.
Just a thought. Might be related to your problem.
I swapped it for a standard throttle body and it went back to normal.
I guess the MAF sensor doesn't like the extra air flow
