Right I have tried a new map sensor and still no joy :/
It's peaking around 16/17 psi at about 4.5 to 5k rpm
There is such a short amount of rpm that it holds boost for though you loose boost when changing gear!
Checked all the vacuum pipes with a vac gauge and that's was all good.
Gonna try adjusting the boost selenoid but can't see that making a difference.
So I am wondering whether there is a wiring fault somewhere?
If that is the case I'm thinking of getting a new engine loom and starting again As it will be easier than trying to trace back through the loom which is already modified and still quite a mess.
