Cully's spare Gti6 engine

So is it going back with a standard crank or 2.1/2.2 diesel ones for some extra capacity?

havnt thought on it .....

2.2 Crank, S16 rods and a couple of mm skimmed of the top of the block would all bolt together nicely.

???? whats the throw on a 2.2 crank?
the 6 is 86mm x 86mm a square engine thats why it wants to rev

i dont see how changing the stroke increases the capacity on a 6 engine without addig extra block hight,surely boreing the block would ad extra capacity
