There is galvanic corrosion if you have both ally and copper in contact. Never ever use copper slip on any alloy components.
Rear calipers are made of aluminium.
Funnily enough i got that from a peugeot data sheet that was released to workshops after they all started seizing and snapping. Who says they are ally? Could be steel nipples (giggidy)
