I'm almost there Dum!
I seeeeriously need to turn down the fuel and bring up the boost, the pumps the one off Joey so you can imagine, set up for a lot of fuel but the turbo actuator is still at its stock setting so the coal is pure chronic! Also need to change to the Bosch injectors as I'm still running Lucas ones as I didn't have the correct socket which don't seem to bad if I'm honest.
The cambelt change was an absolute pig of a job partly because of the lack of room and rain (205's have a lot more room in certain places which the 306's don't) and the tensioner pulley spring was seized in there so I had to remove that bracket and whack it in a vice and smack it out and clean it up so it moved freely.
Then had trouble getting the belt taught between the pump and cam which I later worked out that the pump had to be fully retarded to get it taught. Is this normal? I've advanced it back no to get rid of the white smoke.
But so far it's running good and starts well.
Just need to sort out a decent turbo now and transfer my old intercooler on which doesn't have pipes the width of drainpipes like the current one.
