Had a good day today rang up a garage that specialise in diesel tuning and hes done what I want to a 306 dt before, so he said theres no point in 11mm pumps as there boggy and they waste abit to much fuel so recommend a 10mm pump with so extra "special" aftermarket bits which he will build he said I could have a dt reviving to around 6.5k without the fuel cutting out as thats a big problem with the bosch pump. Like everything theres always a but, I have to look into a uprated cam as it kept on snapping on hard acceleration :/ and bigger injectors. Soo I could run a gt35 hybrid and run it to the pumps limit but have to have forged rods and pistons soo hopefully next month im going to pop down there and speak to him to see what he does to them and how much itll cost sooo fingers crossed ill hopefully start building a new engine in the summer
