Ok so my sister wants a new digi camera for Christmas. Needs to be better than het 8mpx phone, and not cost a penny more than 100 quid. I know nearly nothing about what's out there at the mo, so what do you guys recommend?

Should have bid on my 12mp canon just sold on eBay for £32. Was not even that old.
But eBay, Argos any of those places will be good.
Can't really go wrong with any branded camera, canon, Nikon, Samsung, Sony.

Panasonic Lumix range is a good start, or Nikon. Just a compact you're after? As you may be able to pick up a bridge for that money, although that depends how interested in photography she is or if it's purely point-and-shoot.

Bridge... They those compacts that you can change the lenses on? She was interested in one of those, but I figured you'd be right at the bottom of the price range with that...
don't think she's big into pg, so a compact would do the job.
Mines a lumix, few years old but pretty good. Might see what's what with those these days.
cheers guys
