quick update
I made a start on the hardline inside the car, started on the feed from the tank to pot. Pipe bends nice better than copper and is alot more forgiving i used a bender to gain better bends and less chance of kinking. Im waiting on some plates from the water cutters to cover the tank holes in the body and will use bulkhead fittings through them. Other side is more of a pain as its going to the bulk head and will need to remove the cage and seats to do it but luckily the cage is going to the powder coaters soon.

Dyed a beige gentry carpet black with alcohol ink dye my other carpet has long died and is really annoying me! still needs another coat as its abit patchy in places.
Got my pro race 3's back really happy with them and fitted new ad08r's to them and took liberty and filled them with the green stuff.
May not suit everyone but caliper clearance is key function over looks etc will start painting valance this week sun dependent

Started on more work over the last few nights after work.
firstly i started to lower the door bars as they were far to high and limiting seating position, new position is alot lower and is set with guidance from the blue book.
I carefully removed the previous mounting and welded on the new mount.
Cage is now off to my mates to be blasted and coated.
Next i turned to the interior removed the carpet a binned most of it and removed the old seat rails as they had sagged due to a weak tunnel material so ive started to strentghen the contact points I managed again to remove the old rails without cutting into the sill side but the tunnel i have started to cut a section out to replace as it is just tin!
Ill be using some 30mm box for the rails and use a gusset to the floor for extra support.
All for now

quick update
Made more progress on the seat rails, After cutting the original tin out that peugeot called a steel i replaced with decent material. Wasnt easy as its a odd shape but much stronger now. Started to make up the first of the rails from 30mm box and also strengthed the harness mounts.

seat rails are finished i decided to move the passenger rail back abit for more driver room and clearance. Doing so i need to make a new outer lap belt anchorage point as it is out of tolerance and not at the correct angle. Inner lap belt points have been strengthened both sides and i have made a start on the 5th and 6th points. Seating positioning is loads better and i now sit centre to the wheel!

excuse the mess,
finished off the hardlines awaiting the pump and sender covers from the water cutters.
Ran into a issue with a fitting causing a fuel leak "forged" fitting
Hope to pick the cage up tuesday so i can put everything back together and get it moted.

today i finished off the swirl pot and heat sleeved the fuel hose as its near the exhaust. Managed to pick up 5 meters for £30 needless to say ive loads left over.
Also managed to get around to getting the front valance in primer since the sun was out. Taking extra care with this one as it took for ever to find one!
Back on 4 wheels been awhile since it last was.

Since im still waiting on the cage to return i made a start on removing the dash. I dropped my spare dash off to the flockers which i hope to pick up weekend. I think ill have a cable tidy while its all out.

Really looking well now. Out of interest, is the splitter functional or purely for looks?

Not quite the same but I have a splitter on the race car now and it makes a big difference. In conjunction with the rear wing you can feel the car has more grip at speed. If I take the wing off and just run the splitter the car is very unstable whereas it used to be quite passive (with no wing or splitter).
