Ok, so another project I've just started
Cheap tax ph3 hdi dturbo in Diablo
£250 with a full tank of diesel, spares or repair due to a knackered alternator and horrendous front end lacquer peel
Alternator change in services round the corner....
And she's sweet!
So....why did I buy it?
Answer really is that the 305 simply cannot handle the power of the engine that is in it now and suspension/brakes etc mean it can't be driven to its full potential
So....the motor from the 305 will be going into this and the stock motor from this will be going in the 305 and getting a manageable tune up.
But it's not very retro I hear you say!
True! But it's a hdi so the engine swap will be a piece of piss, plus it's cheap tax, plus because it's a ph3 you get all the goodies and the shell isn't rotten.
Cue the ph1 conversion
So it's now got a full ph1 front end with twin optics, ph1 dturbo side repeaters, and a ph1 tailgate. Still required are ph1 rear bumper with the black strip, and a pair of ph1 wings really so the early style side repeaters and hockey sticks will fit properly.
It's also going to get coilovers, upgraded anti roll bars front and back, gti6 brakes and a front mount. It will be staying on cyclones and will be aiming to retain the oem+ ph1 look
No point getting all the spraying done until all the engine/suspension/brakes are done as not to risk damaging any paint!
Comments/suggestions welcome!
Oh and it will be getting a numberplate change to compliment it's ph1 look

Phase 1s are the best anyway. I think that its a fair idea to put the hdi in the older car. That's what I would do. Good luck with it.
On a break from 306oc for personal reasons. If anyone needs or wants me most of you have my number and or facebook messenger
Thanks for the good times guys n gals. I might be back. Who knows.

I have a Dturbo badge from a Ph1 if it's any use, retro.
I know this is a HDI, but at least it's authentic diesel badgeness.

Slightly different shape around the edge of the headlight to accommodate the Ph.1 indicators I think.
This post is an artistic work of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted above as fact.

Yeah as above and also the holes in the wings are too big for the early ph1 side repeaters which I want to use
