So after pugfest and Scotland heres how my wheels looked, check the brake dust on the tyres, maybe need to find some low dust pads lol
And she's now off the road till I can sort an exhaust for the MOT in October as I'm just a little bit sick of being under Peugeots at the minute. Maybe put her back on the road for the Christmas meet.

What you driving then since you've sorned this and the TUD isn't running?
Lol at the brake dust stripes. Instead of being under it, polish it.

Mate bad luck. A bit silly to try and drive through a river but we all do stupid stuff. shame it was the rallye and say a corsa

Mrs Piggy tried to float in our ph1 XRDT (the green turd). It stopped the engine.
Towed her out, tore interior out that day and dried it, took inlet all off and emptied, took glow plugs out and span it over. Put it all back together and it did another 40k miles before i broke it for spares and it lived on Wishes for more power...

Is there pics or a video?
Right you lot can f*ck off. You all know I wouldn't of tried it if I thought it was going to kill my baby. It was only just over kerb height when I went in and would of been the 4th bit of water that deep I'd been through yesterday. I think there might have been a car coming the other way with gusto and the bow wave off that might have been what engulfed the filter and inlet.
All the Photos of it are several minutes afterwards and the water level on the road was rising all the time. Believe it or not taking photos wasn't my priority. Also I was the first person to get stuck, I wasn't the numpties that having seen my car stranded decided to have a go anyway. Rallye is a write off, the man holes were lifting so all the water in it will have sewage in it, electrics went stupid, and interior is soaked. Oh and Jordan http://www.harrowtimes.co.uk/news/136279...?ref=fbshr
Hmmm, seems like exactly the kind of thing you would do these days tbh. Anyway, condolences, hope you get her sorted out.

I hope you buy it back. Could fix it up with the money you'd get for it being a write off

Another stripped GTi6 could be a laugh but it's been done. I might get something completely different or bring the schedule of doing my bike licence forward and get a big bike as I can usually borrow cars or TBH for supermarket once a month I could just get a taxi. I suppose in the unlikely event I do get the £3k it's insured for I should buy an MK Indy like I always said I would do when I sold the rallye as it was supposed to be an investment. I suppose that really depends on how well I do for overtime next month.
