That's not ocd cleaning...I've just anti-bac'd the pedals in my car.
As for that seat though, how do they get that bad? I'd have changed it as soon as there was a little tear!

The car is for the first time *in my ownership* absolutely spotless! even polished the underside of the bonnet and valeted the interior! spent too much money at the autosmart van last weekend

I was a professional valeter before my last job, WHEN i do bother to clean a car i can guarantee it will be cleaner than even your efforts Mr Bacon
This is why i normally just chuck a bucket and sponge over them or just not bother at all.
I'll get some pics after work but the rallye is now dry stored and kept immaculate when not in use the inside is spotless, theres no dust in the vents, no grime on any switches / stalks / knobs / seatbelts or clips and all glass including mirrors has been polished.
Check out my S16 project thread to see what its like when i go OCD under the bonnet

Given mine he deep ran treatment soon. God I can't wait it's so dirty atm. Under the rear lights is a good shout, as it fronts, all the engine plastics, the metal part inside of the tailgate where the rainwater runs off gets really bad as well. Also for rubber mats tyre shine works great. Just makes em a bit slippy!

It works well with fabric mats but giving your car mats a shower and vigourously rubbing shampoo into them actually works amazingly, the water coming out of them is often very dark brown even over 3-4 washes!
I'm sure rubber mats would hose off nicely in the shower too.

Cheers lads
Best tip for rubber mats is too jetwash them then when re-fitted to the car give them a rub over with vinyl roof treatment

Well i had my closest ever encounter last night!
Ended up heading off a damp & greasy roundabout late last night, mounting a curb sideways with the N/S front wheel and stopping literally mm's from a streetlight. Tbh i cant believe how lucky i was not to do any damage at all to the car! Probably due to how slow i was going at the time (unusual for me!)
Only thing i can visibly notice wrong with the car is the tracking has been knocked out.
Not taking any chances though so have ordered new wishbones / Track rod ends / Ball joints & drop links.
