So the silicone join to the plastic 406 pipe on the intercooler end keeps popping off. I've put 2 proper jubilees on there at once, tried a mikalor and sprayed it with hairspray but still it comes off any recommendations.

Has it still got the beaded end, or did you cut that off?

I cut off the beaded end to make it fit I've put on 2 jubilees now and cable tied the pipe to stop it moving I'm hoping that has sorted it out.

That pipe needs sacking off asap. Custom sillicone with metal pipe routed under the engine to the intercooler work a treat.

You could heat the pipe gently and form a new bead or more easily a raised end into it.

Yeah that bead is necessary, you might be alright if you hash the hell out of the mating surface.
