Yeah but there isn't exactly any rush Sian, we have 5 months yet. A lot of people won't have a clue what they're doing that far ahead. There's even a possibility I'll be working abroad at that time for example.

IP bans mean nothing in England. Most service providers give dynamic IP's and charge extra for static IP's.

I like it that way...

You'd have to be fairly stupid to want a static IP for personal use..

Yep but the hotels put their prices up as they get more booked so the sooner you lot announce it the cheaper it'll be for your members though.

Also its good people don't know what they are doing then as if they have nothing planned then they have no excuses not to come.

See where your coming from pal but prices don't change until much closer to the date, and I can't say for definite whether I can come if I might have to miss it for work. There's no panic at this time of year

I wouldn't panic about hotels just yet. Once a location is decided, i will be sorting a set price for a hotel where possible

IIRC premier inn put the prices up as to how many rooms they have booked not the closeness to the date.

The one we stayed in last year has the first fri/sat in dec at £64 at the moment, IIRC it was £80ish when everyone started booking last year and actually went up over £100 even closer to the event.

Tbh that's not really what the Christmas meets about. And although the weather had been nice the last two Christmas meets I wouldn't want to count on it!
